This page is intended as a two-minute summary of my CV. For a more comprehensive CV, just drop me an email.
History
- I work as a EU funded postdoctoral fellow based at NTNU, under my own grant.
- I worked for a little under years as an ERCIM fellow based at NTNU.
- I worked for just over two years as a postdoctoral fellow at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada.
- I obtained my PhD from the University of Reading (UK) on the development of “structure preserving” finite element methods as part of a doctoral training centre on the “Mathematics of Planet Earth”.
- I was awarded a MRes (Master of Research) in the “Mathematics of Planet Earth” joinly from Imperial College London and the University of Reading.
- I attained my MSc (Master of Science) from the University of Kent (UK) in applied mathematics.
- I completed my BSc at the University of Kent in mathematics. After this my education was fully funded by scholarships.
Dissemination
When possible, I enjoy travelling and disseminating my research. I have given over 20 invited talks and 12 contributed talks. In addition, I have experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and have undertaken 6 research visits across 3 continents.
Extracurricular
- I have organised two conferences.
- I have organised (at least) one mini-symposium per year since 2022.
- I helped organise a stand at Ungdommens Forskernatt 2025 (Youth Researchers’ Night), promoting STEM to Norwegian high-schoolers.
