History

• I work as an EU-funded postdoctoral fellow based at NTNU, under my own grant.
• I worked for a little under two years as an ERCIM fellow based at NTNU.
• I worked for just over two years as a postdoctoral fellow at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada.
• I obtained my PhD from the University of Reading (UK) on the development of “structure preserving” finite element methods as part of a doctoral training centre on the “Mathematics of Planet Earth”.
• I was awarded an MRes (Master of Research) in the “Mathematics of Planet Earth” jointly from Imperial College London and the University of Reading.
• I attained my MSc (Master of Science) from the University of Kent (UK) in applied mathematics.
• I completed my BSc at the University of Kent in mathematics. After this, my education was fully funded by scholarships.

Dissemination

When possible, I enjoy travelling and disseminating my research. I have given over 20 invited talks and over 10 contributed talks.

Extracurricular

• I have organised two conferences (and am currently helping to organise a third).
• I have organised (at least) one mini-symposium per year since 2022.
• I helped organise a stand at Ungdommens Forskernatt 2025 (Youth Researchers’ Night), promoting STEM to Norwegian high-schoolers.
